Creative Director • Handmade Jewellery by Pearly

I communicate with the CEO and take care of the creative process of this jewelery brand from their brand identity, creating social media graphic and video promotion work as well event managing.

As part of our recent public relations campaign, we partnered with Spider, an independent artist whose unique music style and fashion sense perfectly aligned with our brand image. To ensure that our jewellery was prominently featured in the video, we provided Spider and her team with a wide range of options, from classic to modern.

Spider and her team were able to showcase each piece in a way that complemented their artistic vision flawlessly. This collaboration not only increased brand awareness but also introduced us to a new audience who were previously unfamiliar with our brand. The partnership with Spider was a great success, and we are excited to work with her and other talented artists in the future to continue to elevate the brand.

D&AD: WEARTH

My friends and I collaborated on a project to participate in the D&AD New Blood Awards and compete for a pencil. In my role, I was responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the project.
This included creating and sourcing assets to be used within the video, as well as producing and editing motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
Despite not winning the competition, we learned so much from the experience and are excited to take on new challenges and improve our skills even further.

Science Museum Illustration Internship

For 7 weeks, I support the young participants and the technicians in visualising their ideas.
Support them to creatively communicate their concepts, thoughts and experiences.
The video shows my illustration for a postcard to distribute, and the experiences in our last few days helping the young participants, through interactive information design and game design.

This still image shows my illustrated postcard, visualizing young participants’ ideas. We depicted Metahumans positively, inspired by war propaganda to evoke nostalgia and relatability. This approach captured the participants’ ideas and emotionally connected with the audience, making the illustration engaging and meaningful.

In the video, the postcard has a mechanism that plays an audio with the young particpant's depictions, pros and cons of metahumans.

Franco Manca: Poster Design Commision

I participated in a poster design competition hosted by Franco Manca, a British pizza chain. My entry included five distinct poster series, each highlighting the main ingredient in their pizzas: sourdough yeast.
I was thrilled to learn that my posters were selected as finalists by the esteemed judge, Paul Davis. To achieve a unique and textured effect, I used traditional mark-making tools such as acrylic paint, oil pastel, and charcoal. These materials perfectly complemented Franco Manca's handmade, fresh pizzas made in-store.
