As I embarked on the design process, I was inspired to pay homage to the Arts and Crafts movement, a major artistic and cultural movement that emerged during the early 1900s when the book was first published.
The movement emphasised traditional craftsmanship and the use of natural materials, which I sought to incorporate into my illustration. 

From the intricate details of the rabbit's fur to the subtle shading of the background, I poured my heart and soul into every aspect of this design. I firmly believe that this illustration will enchant and delight readers of all ages, and serve as a fitting tribute to Williams' beautiful prose and the rich artistic traditions that inspired it.
